HalalGuide is a team of tech geek Muslims who regularly bring to life new tech products to ease Muslims’ everyday life. You may have come across with one of our products already, it’s either PrayerTimes24.com when you were searching for the right prayer times, HalalGuide.org to find the nearest halal restaurant or mosque, Miradj360 - virtual Hajj or Ummrah experience for people with a limited mobility, as well as many other projects. Our passion is technology and our mission is to help the Ummah.

So far we’ve built 14 tech products, we chose ones with the most impact and decided to focus on them. These projects include:

HalalStarter.com

As a LaunchGood user, you know the power of crowdfunding. It has helped our Ummah so much so far. We’ve created a platform - HalalStarter, a catalyst for good deeds and a platform where Muslims can support each other. This means helping deprived children around the world, supporting families that have been torn apart, allowing youths to get an education, building wells in Third World countries, or anything in between. You can make some great changes in this world as well as help the Ummah with this feature.

In fact, HalalStarter has already had part in building 14 mosques around the world so far! Fundraisers receive all funds in full without any additional fees or charges. This is our promise.

Ask The Imam

In a day and age when you can supposedly Google everything, often information is incorrect and this can lead to ill-practices for Muslims. That’s why we’ve introduced our Ask the Imam feature! This feature allows you to “Ask the Imam” any question you have, allowing you to receive a specific answer based on your individual situation, adding to its validity. We’ve also recently added a female scholar, which we recognized as being much needed for sisters in the Muslim community. This is a tried and tested feature that you won’t get anywhere else; on other web platforms not all questions are answered and some are answered so late that you may forget about it. Having the Ask the Imam feature in the app makes it easily accessible and you can get your question answered incredibly quickly!

Dua Online - Find a Dua for any occasion. HalalGuide makes it easy to locate the right Dua, switch into the language needed and make it tailored to each user's individual need.

Ramadan Manager - We have a separate section built for Ramadan which makes it easy and interactive to practice your Ramadan. Track your days, see time left until Iftar as a countdown, see the nearest Restaurant & Cafe at any time and receive a Dua to read just before breaking your fast.

Quran Online - Our app has Quran with tafseer into 7 languages. We have enabled such an easy and convenient user experience allowing you to bookmark, scroll, hide & unhide tafseer etc.

Media channels - we digitalise content and knowledge from mosques, by streaming sermons and lectures via our radio and video channels.
