This year, 313 Fitness is making a comeback in the Al-Noor Dragon Boat Race ?, not just for the challenge, but for the sake of Allah. We are raising funds for Muslims Beyond Borders, a non-profit organisation set up by a group of university students with the help of Spot Project to build a primary school in the Gambia.

By the mercy of Allah, the MBB Academy is now in its 4th academic year, providing free education to less-fortunate students and orphans ?✨. This school has been a lifeline for many children who would otherwise not have access to learning.

But our school needs development, and there are still many more children in The Gambia who need OUR HELP. Your generous  donations will be used to

? Provide an education is one of the most impactful forms of charity, shaping a child’s future and breaking the cycle of poverty 
? Share meals with families in need in The Gambia this Ramadan 
? Support our community projects throughout the year, which aim to unite our Muslim youth and break down cultural, racial, and geographical barriers through charitable events

Join us for the Annual Boat Race, a flagship event organised by the Al-Noor Foundation since its inception in the summer of 2018. This much-anticipated event returns on Saturday, 5th July 2025, at Fairlop Waters in the London Borough of Redbridge.

Open to schools, faith groups, charities, and corporate organisations, the Boat Race is a unique opportunity to unite our diverse community for a day of excitement, camaraderie, and charitable giving. Whether you're an individual, a family, or an organisation, you can make a difference by raising funds for causes close to your heart while enjoying the thrill of Dragon Boat racing.

Boat racing has long been a cherished tradition in British culture, symbolising teamwork, determination, and unity. Our event showcases the vibrant spirit of our community while celebrating the growing popularity of Dragon Boat racing, a tradition that originated in Southern China’s Guangdong Province.

17 Riders, 20 Fundraisers: While each boat can carry up to 17 paddlers at a time, teams will include 20 fundraisers, allowing for substitutions and shared participation. Everyone plays a vital role, whether paddling or cheering from the sidelines!
