We are going on a trip! 

College is an important journey in our youth's lives. Choosing the right school, the right major, the right extra curricular activities. It can all be a little overwhelming. This trip, will help to ease some of those questions our students are having. With the opportunity to tour several HBCUs, they will meet current staff and students, visit classes, see dorms and experience the campus culture. 

Not only will our youth be visiting the following HBCUs:

Tennessee State University

Fisk University

Morehouse College

Spelman College

Clark Atlanta University 

Georgia Tech

Talladega University

Alabama State University

Tuskegee University

Selma University

Jackson State University

Grambling State University

Louisiana Tech

They will also be taking intentional trips to experience Black History and culture at other stops along the way such as:

MLK Jr National Historic Park

The Legacy Museum

The National Voting Rights Museum

Ancient Africa Enslavement and Civil War Museum

Highlights of our 2023 HBCU Spring College Tour:

• One student was offered an official try-out with a band.
• One student has received major interest after they exchanged Hudl film and contact information with a football coach with high hopes that this could be the landing spot for him!
• We had several students work on applications for admissions to the colleges of their choice.
• We had several students that did not think they had an adequate GPA for a 4-year university walk away with newfound confidence and aspirations.

This is a trip of a lifetime for these youth and we are excited to take them! Please help us give them an educational, memorable, life changing experience and donate today.
