A Sacred Space for Prayer, Reflection, and Community

At Madina Institute & Masjid Oakville, we are dedicated to fostering a space for prayer, learning, and unity. As part of our mission to enhance our masjid, we are embarking on an important project—the construction of a new Minbar and Mihrab, essential for our five daily prayers, Jumu'ah, Taraweeh, and community gatherings.

The echoes of the Adhan fill the air, hearts are at peace, and souls are uplifted in prayer. It is in this sacred space that we seek Allah’s mercy, teach our children their first surahs, and gather as one ummah.

But today, our masjid remains incomplete—the Minbar and Mihrab, the very heart of our prayer space, are missing.

Why This Project Matters

The Minbar is where our Imam stands to deliver the Friday Khutbah, guiding us toward righteousness. The Mihrab is the sacred niche that directs us toward the Qibla, anchoring us in devotion.

These are not just structures; they are symbols of faith, unity, and spiritual guidance.

🔹 Every Jumu’ah, thousands stand in rows, listening to the wisdom and reminders from the Minbar.
🔹 Every prayer, worshippers turn toward the Mihrab, whispering duas of hope, gratitude, and forgiveness.
🔹 This is where lives are transformed, hearts are healed, and sins are forgiven.

But without these essential elements, our masjid remains unfinished. We need your support to complete this sacred space.
