Imagine this: šŸ’” No food. šŸ’§ No clean water. šŸ  No safe shelter. šŸ‘¶ Children, weak and hungry. šŸ‘µ Elderly, frail and suffering. šŸ˜” Families, broken and desperate.
Every single day in Yemen is a struggle. šŸ’” Hunger gnaws. šŸ’§ Thirst burns. šŸšļø Homes are ruins. šŸ„ Hospitals are empty. šŸ’” Lives are lost.
This isn't a story. It's reality.

For more than 400,000 children under the age of 5, this Ramadan will not been an easy one. Not only will some of these orphans be spending this blessed month alone, but 1 in 3 may starve to death if they do not receive urgent treatment. (UNICEF, 2021).

No baby under the age of 5 should have to go through this.

No matter what we do, we cannot stop the fighting and the reasons that they are starving in the first place.

We can feed them, though. And we don’t have to just drop off bags of rice and lentils which they can’t make use of without fuel and utensils.

They have already been fasting every single day and some of them have not had meat in over a year. The least we can do is share with them a hearty, warm, and nutritious meal.

Did you know that more than half the population of Yemen is food insecure?

Today:

  • More than 17 million Yemenis skip meals everyday because they have no other choice.
  • More than 6 million are on the brink of famine.
  • 2.2 million children under 5 require treatment for acute malnutrition.

Yemen had already been facing one of the world’s worst humanitarian crises since 2011.But in the aftermath of Yemen’s solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Palestine, the country’s situation has only worsened.

Now, children in Yemen are battling three constant threats all over again: bombs, starvation, and disease. There is nowhere that’s safe for them. Their schools have become war zones, and their playgrounds have turned into graveyards.

  • They had no part in creating this crisis, yet they continue to pay for it with their own lives?
  • Don’t these children, and their innocent families, deserve better?

We cannot put a stop to the looming conflict, but we can help soften its impact. Let’s ease their struggles and alleviate their hunger by sharing an iftar for as little as Ā£2.50 ($3).

Why Yemen?

Not only did Yemen hold a special place in the Prophet’s heart, but Yemen has been a hub for so much greatness in the history of Islam. It has produced some of the best scholars and some of the most wonderful people.

There are two whole surahs in the Qur’an that are dedicated to this land, Surah Al Ahqaf and Al Saba. Even the very clothing that our Prophet ļ·ŗ wore was Yemeni.

The Prophet ļ·ŗ said:

One of the BEST things you could do in this blessed month.

As you break your fast with a hearty, home-cooked meal, millions of innocent children are going hungry in Yemen.

So many parents cannot provide food for their children as they themselves are going hungry. And so many more children are orphaned, forced to survive on their own.

Fasting was prescribed to mankind by Allah SWT as a way to attain righteousness. Through it, we become more aware of our actions and surroundings.

We really understand what it feels like to be hungry this month.

So shouldn’t we stop to think about these children who are involuntarily fasting and are hungry throughout the year?

Can we refuse to help these innocent children while we attempt to grow closer to Allah SWT in this month?

This Ramadan, don’t pass up the opportunity to be rewarded exponentially for your kindness.

Be the Answer to Someone’s Prayers

By donating to Good Deed Charity, we have the opportunity today to put 100% of your donation towards taking care of one child’s food and water for the entire month, so at least they don’t have to worry about how they will break their fast each day.

On top of this, you will be rewarded with:

1. Barakah in your income.
2. Protection for you and your loved ones from harm and calamity
3. Reward and protection for the afterlife
4. Rewards for following the sunnah of the Prophet ļ·ŗ and his companions.

But that’s not all!
If you donate right now, during the month of Ramadan, the above rewards will be multiplied by over 700x SubhanAllah!

How It Works

$2 (Ā£1.58) can provide 1 vegetarian meal
$3 (Ā£2.50) can provide 1 chicken meal

1. We receive your donation
2. The entire donation amount gets sent to our Yemeni team on the ground
3. Your donations get put to work
4. We record and show you the impact of your donations.

We Can’t Afford to Delay

Ramadan only comes around once a year, the best time to make the most of this month of increased blessings is right now.

There is no guarantee that we will be fortunate enough to be around to experience another Ramadan! So why not take advantage of the time that Allah has blessed us with today?

Over 1,000,500 Meals Served Last Ramadan

Thanks to your generous support in 2024, we were able to distribute food aid to over 24 different areas -some of which are isolated and inaccessible to the general public.

1,000,500 iftar meals were served in 24 areas including camps.

30,000 Children received Eid Gifts and Clothes

2000 families with food and financial support zakat money

May Allah reward you for your generosity. The children in Yemen cannot thank you enough.

This year, we hope that with your support, and by the grace of Allah, we are able to serve over 1,000,000 meals.

Over 15,080 generous supporters have already assisted us in saving countless children from the brink of starvation last Ramadan. They benefited from the rewards of doing this noble work.

Will you join them?

For as little as $3 (Ā£2.5) per meal, you can help us reach our goal this Ramadan.

About Good Deed Charity

Good Deed Charity was founded by Dr Mohammed Alazani, father of 6, and a distinguished cardiology surgeon in Germany. Dr. Mohamed is originally from Yemen, and he took it upon himself to help the people of his country. At first alone, then with a group of his medical colleagues. In 2019, he realized he could do much more with a registered charity and local office in Yemen and established Good Deed Charity.

Today, Good Deed Charity is one of only 2 charities in Europe that has a registered office in Yemen.

For this reason, we have a dedicated delivery team that knows how to navigate the country in order to facilitate local relief operations in Yemen on behalf of other big charities such as:

We are also registered as a nonprofit organization in the United Kingdom and Germany, exclusively focused on supporting the needy in Yemen.

Having a local office in Yemen allows us to provide our supporters with full transparency through videos and photos highlighting the direct impact of your donations on an on-going basis.

What Yemenis Are Saying About Our Work

FAQ

1. How does the 100% Donation Policy Work?

Good Deed Charity’s team both on the ground and at our headquarters do NOT take on any wages. All administrative costs are covered by a group of private business men in Yemen and in the U.K, including our board of directors and a few doctors.

2. I’ve never heard of Good Deed Charity before, how do I know if this charity is trustworthy?

Good Deed Charity is a registered charity with both the U.K Government (Charity Number: 1185130) and the Yemeni Government. This means that our organization must operate with the highest standard of ethics, transparency, and accountability -one of the ways we do this is by having a dedicated board of directors to oversee all of our finances, programs & services.

All of Good Deed Charity’s financial statements and impact reports are open to the public and posted online on our website https://www.gooddeedcharity.org/.

In addition to this, Good Deed Charity has already been entrusted to deliver aid on the ground in Yemen on behalf of other larger charity organizations.

Chances are, if you have ever donated to a Yemen campaign for one of the following organizations, Good Deed Charity has already been putting your funds to work on the ground: Charity Right, Mercy Bakery, Humanity for Relief and Development, Pious Projects, Crisis Aid, Heroic Hearts, Slough Islamic Trust, and Imdad Relief Foundation.

Donating directly to Good Deed Charity means 100% of your donation to help the people of Yemen, and not towards any other organization’s administrative costs.

3. Can I donate in my local currency?

You can donate with any currency in the world. Prices are displayed by default in USD, and the donation amount will switch to your currency (if supported) once you select your desired giving level.

4. I have a question or a concern about my donation.

Please get in touch with our customer care team at Info@gooddeedcharity.org who will look into this for you.

JAZAKUM ALLAH KHAIR.

Zakat-Ul-Fitr. Have you paid your Zakat-Ul-Fitr.

Donate Your Zakat-ul-Fitr to Yemen – A People Sacrificing for Palestine, Now Facing Starvation

Dear Beloved Brother/Sister

As Ramadan comes to a close, we are reminded of our duty to purify our fasts by giving **Zakat-ul-Fitr** to those most in need. This year, we urge you to direct your charity to the **starving people of Yemen**—a nation that has stood with Palestine, even as they endure unimaginable suffering themselves.

**Why Yemen Desperately Needs Your Help**
- **Famine & War:** Yemen has faced years of brutal conflict, leaving millions without food, clean water, or medical care.
- **Bombed for Supporting Palestine:** While the world watches Gaza, Yemenis have courageously stood with Palestine—only to now face **bombings by the USA and its allies** for their solidarity.
- **A People Sacrificing for Others:** If they can sacrifice their lives for their brothers and sisters in Palestine, can we not sacrifice a small portion of our wealth to save theirs?

### **Your Zakat-ul-Fitr Can Save Lives**
Just **$10** can provide a family with essential food and clean water during Eid. Through **Good Deed Charity**, your Zakat will reach the most vulnerable in Yemen—orphans, widows, and families on the brink of starvation.

**Donate Now:**

**"Who will loan Allah a goodly loan?" (Quran 2:245)** – Let your Zakat be that loan, repaid with infinite blessings.

May Allah accept your fasts, prayers, and charity. Together, we can bring hope to those who have given so much for the Ummah.

**Jazakum Allah Khair,**

Yemen has been attacked and alot of innocent people dead and injured

Yemen has been subjected to devastating attacks, resulting in the tragic loss of countless innocent lives and leaving many more injured. Is it justifiable for Yemen to face such violence simply for standing in solidarity with Palestine? While this humanitarian crisis unfolds, the world remains largely silent, watching from the sidelines.

For over two decades, the northern regions of Yemen have been neglected by the international community. More than 20 million innocent people reside in this area, yet 98% of charitable organizations have withdrawn their support, leaving approximately 18 million individuals to grapple with an overwhelming crisis. Amid this dire situation, the Good Deed Charity Organisation stands as a beacon of hope, providing essential aid to countless Yemenis. However, their critical work cannot continue without your support. Together, we can make a difference and bring relief to those who need it most.
