What’s the Situation in Afghanistan?

In a country with nearly 42 million people, over half the population live below the poverty line, with about 20 million consistently hungry and 6 million suffering from emergency levels of food insecurity. 

And the worst part is that not even children are safe. With over 50% of Afghanistan’s youth going hungry, 3.2 million children are at risk of malnutrition. 

Without food to thrive, children are unable to go to school to break the cycle of poverty. Instead, their potential is squandered as they fight each and every day just to survive. 

But we can change this.
