Her name is Alya Adriana (5) daughter of the couple Mr Arifin, a farmer with fluctuating income, and Mrs Latifah, a housewife, perplexed about the cost of their daughter's treatment in Jakarta.
Alhamdulililah Alya is currently able to get treatment for surgery because it is covered by government-subsidized health insurance (BPPJS). However, the cost of postoperative care and medications or medical devices partly cannot be covered by the BPJS.
Alya is currently living in Rumah Zakat's 'Rumah Singgah' or rest house for the sick for the recovery process and requires living expenses (for food etc.) during her temporary stay there.
We send you this appeal to help Alya and her family in treating her condition and hopefully see her in good health and active once more. Let's lend us our hand for the future of this girl and for the sake of Allah SWT.

We sadly announce the passing away of Alya
Innalillahi wa innaillaihi rojiuun,
"Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we return."
Assalamualaikum warahmatullah wabarakaatuh dear Brothers and Sisters, we have to sadly inform you that Alya has passed away on January 2, 2024. and at 02:30 AM Jakarta time. She has been in a coma for the last 12 days prior to her passing away.
This is very testing on her family. Her parents were also confused on how to bring Alya home to Lampung. Luckily, their colleague recommended contacting Rumah Zakat to help them with the ambulance to deliver Alya back to Lampung, and alhamdulillah she has been safely brought back to her hometown for her burial.
Let us all pray for her ;
May Allah make her the companion in Paradise al Firdaus for her parents, and may He grant her family strength and in this testing ordeal, and may He grant them forgiveness and blessings, aameen yarabbal alameen.
Brothers and Sisters, we will update you on her burial as soon as we we receive the information. And we must ask you to give what we can to support her parents in this testing moment. And finally we wiuld like to thank you for your tremendous support for Alya, even though she has to be recalled back into the loving arms of Allah SWT, may Allah SWT reward your amaal al jariyyah with blessings, forgiveness, and paradise. aameen yarabbal alameen

Hand out of Aid to Alya's family
Assalamualaikum wr wb
Alhamdulillah dear Brothers and Sisters, the first batch of aid from you had been distributed to Alya's parents. They are now living temporarily in Rumah Zakat's guesthouse for the sick in Jakarta. Alya and her parents are originally from Lampung, a province on the island of Sumatra, which is across the island of Java where Jakarta is located.
Alya's condition has improved, she can sense and respond to her surroundings. Alya was a cheerful and active child before a brain tumor affected her. Her parents noticed a problem when she became cross-eyed. gradually she lost her ability to walk and lost sense and response to stimulations, and her stares became blank. " Alhamdulillah I am very happy that Alya can respond when touched and cries whenever she feels unfcomfortable. Although the doctor said she may not recover 100%, this improvement is a drive of optimism for me to strive for my daughter's recovery." Explained Alya's mother.
Alya currently undergoes regular treatment in Jakarta's main public hospital, RSCM. Her expensive treatment is mostly and thankfully covered by government subsidy, however, additional costs still occur, which is still burdening to her parents who have to stop their job and accompany their daughter in Jakarta. InshAllah your help will lighten their burden.
And they are very thankful for your help.
"Thank you to LaunchGood donors, may your rizq be full of baraka. Please send your prayers for the recovery of Alya," thanked Alya's mother.
Brothers and sisters, Alya is also our child, the next generation of the umma. Let us do our part to help her recover.
