Would you turn your back on an opportunity to please Allah SWT? I hope the answer is NEVER!

Right now, MATW's team consisting of engineers, builders, planners, construction workers and more, has accepted the honour of implementing your Sadaqah Jariyah. This is your chance to transform lives and build something beautiful!

Help me build a water well in Bangladesh!

Natural disasters often make it on the news and whilst emergency responses are immediate, they're only temporary. However, these efforts are only temporary and band-aid reactions. The consequences of such disasters last for decades and require longer term support.

After strong flooding in Bangladesh, many families don't have clean water to drink. With poor sanitation and hygiene, too many people are exposed to waterborne diseases and the risks associated. MATW Project is building water wells around the country (including flood-affected parts) to provide safe drinking water.

I urge you to help me build a water well for a community in need. For every stone or brick laid in your name, and for every drop of water provided, you will receive rewards Insha’Allah.

All donations above $2 are Tax Deductible.

Thanking you in advance for your support!

Help us keep the Al-Shifa hospital running!

Salaam,
More than 8,700 people have been severely injured in Palestine - the majority among them women and children
Shahid is one of the hundreds of children who have been brought in for urgent life-saving treatment at Al-Shifa hospital.

Shahid was pulled from the rubble after his building was shattered, unconscious. Doctors worked tirelessly to revive him and Alhamdulillah, by the will of Allah SWT succeeded.

They were able to do this through thesupport of our generous donors.

You see, Al-Shifa hospital was almost out of fuel. How can doctors work with no light, machines, equipment or supplies?

Hospitals are overwhelmed with the influx of patients. With limited equipment including beds, tools, medicines, fuel for generators simply providing electricity is not enough to help all of the incoming patients.

Alhamdulillah, we were able to provide more than 5,000L of fuel and 1,000 medical kits but we need to do more.

We’ve also delivered:

In just a few days, we’ve seen the power of this community, our community!

Together, we’ve eased the burden of our brothers and sisters in distress. Together, we will continue doing so.

The horrors are not over for the people in Palestine, and neither is our support.

5,000 presumed dead in Libya after ‘catastrophic’ flooding

More than 5,000 presumed dead in Libya after ‘catastrophic’ flooding breaks dams and sweeps away homes

       CLICK TO DONATE EMERGENCY RELIEF

According to Prime Minister Osama Hamad of the east Libya government at least 2,000 people have died and 5,000-6,000 people are believed missing in the city of Derna after Storm Daniel hit northeast Libya on the afternoon of Sunday the 10th of September1. The city of Derna, previously held by Islamic extremists, has been most heavily impacted and is entirely inaccessible as heavy rainfall has resulted in the collapse of two dams, submerging much of the already inundated area, and washing houses out into the Mediterranean sea.

The eastern cities of Benghazi, Sousse, Derna, Misrata and Al-Marj have been affected.2 Dozens of towns and villages have also been ‘severely affected…with widespread flooding, damage to infrastructure, and loss of life’.

Emergency response is required and MATW team is working to provide the following aid:

● Urgent need to focus on search and rescue operations - locating and rescuing those who may be stranded, injured, or trapped by floodwaters.

● Medical assistance including first aid, access to clean water, and medical supplies.

● Shelter- Many flood victims will require temporary shelter e.g., emergency shelters, tents, or housing solutions.

● Food and clean water - distribution of food packages, water, and water purification methods are immediate requirements.

● Sanitation and Hygiene - Flooding can lead to the contamination of water sources and unsanitary conditions. Proper sanitation facilities, clean water, and hygiene kits are vital to prevent disease outbreaks.

● Communication and information - restoring communication networks and providing accurate information to affected communities about safety measures, available assistance, and government guidance is essential.

● Protection of vulnerable groups - particular attention should be given to vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, pregnant women, and people with disabilities, ensuring their specific needs are met.

Addressing these immediate humanitarian needs promptly and efficiently is crucial to mitigate the impact of flooding and save lives in the aftermath of this disaster and we need your help to do that.
