Our main funding platform abruptly terminated our account - we weren't even given time to brace for impact.
@PersianPoetics doesn't have any grants or donors - we rely on generous readers.
Why do payment providers drop us? Because our project has ‘Persian’ in the name.
Persian Poetics is a business registered in the United States by a US citizen.
Despite that, the name ‘Persian’ is often enough to get us dropped by payment processors.
We can no longer rely on payment platforms - we have to create our own website.
@PersianPoetics is one person project, without fan support, it can't continue.
The funds raised will pay for the new website and sustain the project in the meantime.
