Help us rebuild our only local masjid and get all the activities and life back to the Masjid that was destroyed by Hurricane Michael.

    October 10th, 2018, Hurricane Micheal a deadly high-end category 4 storm made landfall on the Florida Panhandle. It was the third strongest hurricane, on record, that ever hit the USA, only 2 mph shy of Category 5. Our town, Panama City was one of the hardest hit areas. The devastation left behind by this monster storm is heartbreaking and beyond imagination. No news coverage can do justice to the magnitude of destruction that we have witnessed. Michael spared no one. 
    Bay County Islamic Society (BCIS), The ONLY Islamic Center in Panama City, FL, that serves Muslims in about 70-80 miles radius was left destroyed in the wake of Michael. The Muslim Community has lost its ONLY masjid that also served as a Youth center, Sunday school, Quran School and a base for various religious, social and Da’wa Activities. Our beautiful masjid, where we have gathered for years, for Jummas and Eids, for iftars and interfaith open houses, for weddings and for funerals, now stands battered and broken.
   BCIS has always been on the giving end. This is now a test from Allah (SWT) that we are on the receiving end of the chain after hurricane Michael. Once a home and source of help and donations for other mosques around the US, we are now in need of your help and donations. InshaAllah WE WILL REBUILD and come out of this predicament even stronger and better with help from our brothers and sisters in Islam. May Allah help us all to find it in our hearts to give from what He has blessed us with.
