The Muslim community of Toowoomba needs your help! 

Toowoomba Mosque is not like any other mosque.

Since its first establishment in 2014, it has been subject to racist and dividing attacks.

The masjid was established as the first-ever masjid for the Toowoomba community in Queensland, Australia.

The following year in 2015, the only masjid in Toowoomba was burnt twice by a fear-mongering extremist.

You can help the new Toowoomba Mosque to become a reality! Muslims in Toowoomba need your help to complete the building of their sacred Mosque in time for Ramadan. ⭐🌙

Allah (SWT) says: “And spend (in charity) of that with which we have provided you, before death comes to one of you and he says: “My Lord! If only you would delay me for a brief term (to the worldly life) so I would give Sadaqah (charity) of my wealth, and be among the righteous”. (63:10)

Allah’s Messenger (PBUH) was the most generous of all the people and he used to be more generous in the month of Ramadan. 

This Ramadan amplify your wealth, purify your soul and gain shade on the day of judgement by donating in the form of Sadaqah Jariyah.

We are committed to rebuilding the mosque in order to build a stronger and better community. Toowoomba mosque is a distinct part of the identity and history of its town and as Muslims it is the heart of their community.

The first thing the Prophet (PBUH) did when he came to Medina was to build a Masjid.

Following Prophetic tradition, the Toowoomba mosque is a place:

• To unite Muslims of Toowoomba
• Support the community
• Emit the light of Islam by creating a hub for educating Non-Muslim visitors and locals about our deen.

As Muslims, we know that part of our faith is to not give up when things get difficult, despite the opposition we may face.

Our centre will be a place of worship and a centre of knowledge and learning to help spread the message of our religion within the community, and be the heart of the Muslim community of Toowoomba for generations to come.

The Toowoomba Masjid has a full-time Imam who is a graduate from Al-Azhar University. Along with congregational prayers and faith-based activities, our Madrasa teaches Islam and Arabic to over 100 children.

As a pillar of the community, Toowoomba mosque donates and collect funds for welfare and humanitarian causes at home and abroad. It’s philanthropic projects support refugees, international students, youth, women and victims of family and domestic violence.

Alhamdulillah, 85% of the work of the mosque project has been completed with the help of Allah and through generous brothers and sisters like you.

But we need your help to cross the final hurdle.
