Alhamdulillah, Higham Hill Maktab was established in 2014 with the aim of providing high-quality Islamic education and tarbiyah for our young Muslim children and adults, in the heart of Walthamstow (East London). When we had first started, we only had two classes with a total of 40 students. Very soon, within a few months we had expanded to 80 students. Fast forward to 2023, we now have a total of 7 classes (including one Qur'an memorisation class), 18 teachers and a total of 260 pupils on our roll. We provide weekday Islamic educational classes in the evening and have recently started a weekend program due to popular demand. In addition, we provide fun extracurricular activities, annual Eid parties/events and Football/Taekwondo classes for our pupils.
