For those that don't know me well…
My name is Sarah Yassine and I am originally Palestinian but born and raised in the UK.
My beloved parents passed away in July 2022 from a car accident and left a deep hole in our hearts… They were passionate about helping people and never turned anyone away. If you knew them you would have known them for their humbleness and hospitality.
I have a medical background and qualified as a GP in the UK in 2015. I live with my family in Oxford and am mother to 2 sets of twins aged 3 years and 1 years old.
The ongoing genocide in Gaza has left me heart broken and having young children myself I couldn't just sit back any longer watching the disaster unfold from the comfort of my own home.
We are travelling to Cairo on 30th October for a few months.
The plan is to connect with as many Palestinian refugees as possible in Cairo.
Over 100,000 have fled there since the start of the genocide in Gaza.
With your contributions, we will be giving out food, clothes, and essentials.
With regular donations, we hope to be able to extend our support by contributing to medication treatment and providing shelter.

A Jacket and Blanket
For just £20 you can provide a Palestinian with a Jacket and a Blanket. This winter help them to stay warm. The houses are freezing and the nights a cold. Most people have no heating in their houses and have arrived in Egypt with very little clothing especially jackets or blankets. Every little helps.

An eye test and new glasses
1000s of Palestinians are in need of eye tests and replacement glasses which were damaged or lost in Gaza. For just £22 your money will pay for an eye test and a new pair of glasses for those that need it most. We have been kindly offered this discounted price by a very generous optician in Cairo who will be offering these appointments to displaced Palestinians.

Dental care
Dental care has been a massive issue for all the Palestinians in Gaza as there has been virtually no dental treatment available or dental hygiene. Now those that have arrived to Cairo will require a lot of dental input. Prices vary for the dental check up and management. We have been offered discounted dental care for the Palestinians by a very generous Egyptian dentist in Cairo. For just £25 you can help provide a Palestinian with some basic dental treatment including cleaning, tooth extraction, fixed prosthesis, endodontic treatment etc.

Provide a child with education
For just £50 a child who is about 16 to 17 years old can be supported for 2 subjects per week for a month to prepare them to take their end of year exams in June and allow them to complete their education and have a chance to rebuild their lives and go on to start a university. The lessons are taken in a donated building in Cairo and they are taught by a Palestinian teacher from Gaza so your money will be spent on providing the lessons for a student and also an income for the teacher.

Help a family with living expenses for a month
Most of the families that arrive are broken, separated, traumatised and grieving. They have nothing left and a lot of the nes we met are women who were only able to leave without their husbands or any males to protect and help provide for them. For £100 you can relieve a family of a lot of living expenses and help provide support with rent, food and clothing.

Trauma victims in hospitals
There are 100s if not 1000s of Palestinians in Hospitals around Cairo with severe and life changing injuries. They have very little financial support. Your donation can help rebuild lives. provide food clothes, toys educational materials and cover medical treatment costs etc.

A call for help ! Please donate
Hello Everyone
After 2 months of being in Cairo we have been introduced to many Palestinian families. Many are struggling with finances. What has struck me the most is that a lot of them are women with children and no adult male to support or protect them. They have no income and rely on kind hearts and donations or help from extended family who are already abroad.
Some are in hospital with severe life changing injuries and some are just grieving those they left behind.
Can you help us?
I've set up some giving levels based on the projects we have started here which include helping children finish education. sponsoring specific families that are struggling a lot. Offering dental and eye care.
As well as helping provide basic items and living costs for Palestinians.
