I am thrilled to join this meaningful event organized by Run for Palestine and Human Appeal to support Palestinians in need.

Run for Palestine (RfP) is a fun, family-friendly 5KM run or walk that unites communities in support of humanitarian projects for the Palestinian people. Participants collect sponsorships and donations, making every step count towards providing vital aid.

Human Appeal is a non-profit organization working across the globe to strengthen humanity’s fight against poverty, social injustice and natural disaster. Through the provision of immediate relief and the establishment of self-sustaining development programs, we aim to invest in real, effective and long-term sustainable solutions.

As more shelters and more refugee camps are bombed, families in Gaza – already displaced multiple times – have nowhere safe to go. The survivors face horrific scenes, and it’s getting harder each day to cope as hospitals, water sources, and farm land – all elements needed for survival - are bombed.

The situation worsens daily, with essential supplies like medicines, baby products, food, and aid cut off due to the tightened siege. Survivors face rising risks of disease and infection as medical facilities are targeted and shut down.

Our goal at RfP is to raise money for CRA-approved charities operating in Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps in the Middle East. Run for Palestine has raised over $500,000 for various projects in the West Bank, Gaza, and the camps in Beirut, Lebanon. We also hope to promote an active and healthy lifestyle through this event.

Participants join Run for Palestine for three main reasons:

1. To raise money for needed projects on the ground in Palestine and Palestinian refugee camps.
2. To bring awareness and demonstrate solidarity with the Palestinians.
3. To participate in an event that advocates living a fit, healthy lifestyle and to compete in a 5KM run, with the goal to place in the top three.

Run for Palestine (RfP) events are held in multiple cities, bringing together people of all ages and backgrounds to run or walk for a cause. It’s more than just a race; it’s a movement of solidarity and hope. The funds raised help Human Appeal deliver essential aid and support, including hot meals, clean water, medical care, and shelter to those in desperate need.

Hot Meal: Provide a nutritious hot meal to a person facing hunger in Gaza.

FIVE Hot Meals: Offer 5 hot meals to people facing starvation in Gaza, and we’ll match it with 5 more.

Medical Crisis Fund: Provide medical treatment for 3 people at our mobile clinic.

Mobile Health Clinic:  Help us to provide treatment at our mobile clinic in Rafah.

Orphan Sponsorship: 19,000 Palestinian children have been orphaned and are in urgent need of care and protection. Let a precious Palestinian child be the soul of your soul through the mercy of sponsorship.

Food Parcel: Provide a nutritious food parcel to a family for a month.

Clean Drinking Water: Supply 3,000 litres of clean water for 20 people for a month.

Waterproof & Fire Retardant Tents: Contribute towards providing a family with a waterproof and fire-resistant tent.

As runners, we are committed to raising funds and awareness to help alleviate the suffering of Palestinian families. By participating in this 5KM run, we aim to provide essential aid and support to those in desperate need.

Human Appeal is on the ground in Gaza, providing mobile clinics at UN school shelters, distributing hot meals daily, and supplying tens of thousands of liters of clean drinking water every hour.
