The second recipient of the 2023 BACG Zakat funds: Aafia Transitional Home in San Jose. ICNA Relief Bay Area purchased the original SBIA mosque in downtown San Jose and converted the apartment portion of the mosque into a transitional home. These zakat funds will facilitate the continued development of the space and its operations.
