Alhamdulillah, thanks to your generous support, we have already refurbished our Wudhu area and upgraded our IT classroom! These improvements directly benefit our students, enhancing both their spiritual and educational experience.

But now, we face a new challenge. Recent UK government changes mean that private schools like ours are now subject to 20% VAT on fees and the removal of charitable relief on business rates. This has dramatically increased our financial burden, making it even harder to sustain our high standards of education.

This Ramadan, we need your help more than ever! Your donations will directly support:

Lantern of Knowledge has been established for over 15 years in the heart of London and operates as a secondary school for boys, an institute of elementary and higher Islamic studies, as well as local relief efforts such as aid for the vulnerable like the homeless and elderly.

AlhamduLillah our advanced Islamic studies graduates have gone onto serve their communities across the UK as Imaams, youth workers, chaplains and community workers. They are of benefit to many, not only in Islamic sciences but also in a professional capacity as they also hold secular qualifications. All of this has been made possible by  Allah’s will and with the overwhelming Duaas, and support from our generous community.

We ask for you to continue supporting us in cultivating the next generation as ambassadors of our community. By helping Lantern of Knowledge you will have a share in the endless cycle of goodness creating imams, teachers, chaplain and aid workers who serve the Deen and humanity.  

Allah promises us that he will increase our wealth and sustenance and bring us success in this life and the hereafter when we give Sadaqah

إِنَّ ٱلْمُصَّدِّقِينَ وَٱلْمُصَّدِّقَـٰتِ وَأَقْرَضُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًۭا يُضَـٰعَفُ لَهُمْ وَلَهُمْ أَجْرٌۭ كَرِيمٌۭ

“Indeed, those men and women who give in charity and lend to Allah a good loan will have it multiplied for them, and they will have an honorable reward.” 57:18
