We would like to honor our loving parents by starting this campaign in bringing light and love to the areas of Africa where help is most needed.
“A gentleman with a heart of gold”...Shaikh Mohiuddin, a beloved father of 5 children, an exceptional husband and loving grandfather who passed in the loving arms of his son and daughter on 1/3/22. He (Rahimahullah) dedicated his life to the deen and helped everyone through his immense generosity by any and all means.
"Noor (light) of our lives"...Noor Jahan Shaikh, a loving mother, wife, grandmother and a friend, was truly a light in everyone's life through her sacrifices, good deeds and an undying love for all. Our mom would not let anyone leave her house without them having had her home-cooking. She was extremely generous and loving beyond measure. Our mom (Rahimahallah) returned to Allah SWT in March 2012 after a long illness.
Their life journey started in Hyderabad, India where they were born, they were raised in Karachi, Pakistan, lived almost two decades in Dubai, UAE, and eventually settled in New York, USA. They came with very little means yet raised their five kids with honor and dignity, always instilling the values of education and hard work.
Now it’s our turn to carry on their legacy. Please help us in donating even a $1 for this cause and partaking in this labor of love, our sadaqah jaariyah project for our parents. Sadaqah jaariyah is a continuous charity, allows one to receive its reward even in the afterlife:
