“The example of those who spend their wealth in the cause of Allah is that of a grain that sprouts into seven ears, each bearing one hundred grains. And Allah multiplies ˹the reward even more˺ to whoever He wills. For Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing” (2:261).

Alhamdulilah,  Each year, during the month of ramadan, InfiniteOutreachGambia launches its special campaign to provide food parcels for orphanages in the Gambia. During this sacred time, when we reflect on the importance of charity, we come together to make a lasting impact in the lives of those who need it most.

 This year, our mission is even bigger. We are expanding our efforts to support three orphanages, bringing warmth and care to more children who have lost their parents. Through your generous donations, we are able to provide these children with food and a sense of belonging during the holy month.

Ramadan is always an oppotunity for us to double our efforts and send forth something for ourselves on the day we need it the most. The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was known to be especially generous during Ramadan. As Ibn Abbas (RA) reported, "The Prophet (PBUH) was the most generous of person, and he used to become more generous in the month of Ramadan when Jibril (AS) would meet him. Jibril AS used to meet him every nght during Ramadan to revise Quran with him. Allah's messenger (SAW) then used to be more generous than the fast wind." (Sahih Bukhari 3554).

Lets continue to remind ourselves that when we give charity we are doing it for ourselves. "Indeed, what you give is what you own. Whatever you keep for yourselves is left behind."
