Campaign for a Brand New Masjid and Islamic Center 

This campaign is for building a brand new masjid and Islamic Center in the Northern Part of San Antonio, Texas. As San Antonio is one of the fastest growing cities in the United States, there is currently a great need for a masjid and Islamic Center that can not only serve the needs of the muslim population but also serve as a beacon of Islam for non muslims alike.

Our Story

We are a small but rapidly growing community and masjid located in the northern part of San Antonio, Texas. Our masjid serves as the only masjid and Islamic Center in the area with the closest masjid being more than 25 mins away. Currently, we are housed in a rental facility comprising of a small 3,000 (sqft) musallah (men and women included). Despite our small size and limited capacity, we offer a number of services and classes ranging from an after-school Islamic Studies Program (which has over 40 students), weekly tafsir, family and youth halaqas, monthly seminars, facilitate shahadas, offer counseling, marriage and funeral Services amongst other social and welfare programs. Brothers and Sisters, we are now running out of space and desperately need a bigger space to be able to accommodate our growing needs as a community. This is where our New Masjid and Islamic Center project comes in which will Insha Allah provide adequate space for our needs for the foreseeable future. 

Alhamdulilah, over the last year and a half, through the Help of Allah SWT and the generous support of the community, we have been not only been able to acquire the adjacent property of 7.25 acres (almost fully paid off and worth well over $2 million) which is conveniently located right across the street from our current facility and and easily accessible to our community, but also make significant progress in terms of our project on meeting land clearing anddiligences and acquiring architectural designs and building permits etc.. Brothers and Sisters, we are doing our part, but we really need your support to complete this project and make this masjid into a reality!
