Dear Muslim Community,

For over a decade, Islamic Center of Hawthorne has been trying to solve the problem of a growing community and a lack of space. On multiple occasions we have sought to purchase the adjacent parking lot (23,000 sq. ft.) and unfortunately we continued to come up dry. However, during the last ten nights of Ramadan, Allah blessed us with a breakthrough. The owners finally agreed to sell this critical piece of land to our community!

Per details of the documents signed 48 hours ago, we need to come up with an additional $1 million in the next 60 days to secure the property. We are asking the entire Muslim community in America and beyond to join hands and make an investment that will pay dividends for the future generations inshaAllah.
