Aqsa School has a pioneering legacy as the first Islamic school in the State of Illinois and as a preK-12 school that is dedicated to instilling Islamic principles in all of our youth and building the leadership, esteem, and character of Muslim girls in grades 6-12. We were the first Islamic School to have Golden Apple Award-winning teachers. In addition, we have an award-winning principal, and outstanding marks by both our state and private accreditation agencies.

Our students are:

• Questbridge scholars,
• Winners of national travel-team debate competitions,
• Board members of the Illinois Junior Academy of Sciences,
• The first team of Islamic school students to win an IHSA regional championship in any sport.
• Two girls are currently in medical school programs through direct admission from high school.
• Our graduates have been accepted into some of the most competitive programs in the country, and we are so proud of their accomplishments.
