We will be collecting donations through Friday, April 28, to support humanitarian aid efforts. You can make monetary donations as well as giving new items. You can drop off donations at the school buildings through Friday, April 28.

Zakat Foundation of America built one of the first Tent Villages, a safe haven for earthquake victims of the Türkiye and Syria earthquake. With over 900 tents available, each one is capable of providing shelter for a family of up to 7 people. This Tent Village is a crucial resource for those who have lost everything in the aftermath of the disaster.

The Tent Village is more than just a place to shelter. It is equipped with water facilities, irrigation, and electricity, giving our residents access to basic necessities that can be hard to come by in times of crisis. Zakat Foundation of America's Health and Mental Health Clinic also provides much-needed medical and psychological care to those who have lived through the most traumatic experience of their lives.

We understand that many of our donors are eager to help in any way they can.

Support local economy: By engaging local sellers for food distribution, we're able to help boost the community and provide much-needed jobs.

Sense of normalcy: This is one of the main reasons there is a school along with basic necessities as part of the Tent Village. We believe that by providing shelter, basic necessities, and access to medical care, we can help bring a sense of normalcy back to the lives of those who have been affected by the earthquake.
