La Maison - Orphans of Zambia

This summer, the La Maison team shall be travelling to Zambia and visiting the orphan villages called Hope Village and Afiyah Village with the intention of supporting hundreds of orphans by providing and constructing education hubs and playgrounds.

Every child deserves the best opportunity in life, love, and support, along with childhood memories of happiness and joy.

The two villages the teams shall be visiting have already had a number of facilities completed, including mosques, madrassas, dormitories, kitchens, shops, etc. Now, through your love and support, they shall be provided with the opportunity to gain a fuller education and better chances in life by having access to purpose-built education hubs with a PC suite, classrooms, and a library. Additionally, the La Maison team shall fundraise for a purpose-built playground for the children to enjoy.

To complete the construction and provide these two orphan villages with education hubs and playgrounds, the La Maison team has a fundraising target of £35,000.

This project is a Sadaqah and Lillah project only (a non-Zakatable project) and shall be handled under a strict 100% donation policy.

Any Zakat donations made shall go towards food provisions for the orphans of Hope and Afiyah Village.
