The Current State of the Mosque and the Community

With winter approaching in Western New York, we currently do not have a place to pray beside the small section of the mosque that can only fit approximately 25 people. Our Friday prayers consisted of over 500 Muslims. We currently conduct Friday prayers outdoors at a nearby field if the weather permits us to. If it rains, becomes too cold, or starts to snow we are unable to have Friday lecture or prayer.

What Our Community Lost

With our current situation, unfortunately, we have experienced a significant impact in a negative way…

·        The House of Allah, the pillar of our community, is not accessible to the whole community due to space. 

·        We were unable to pray Taraweeh prayer in Ramadan 2020 and potentially will not be able to pray Taraweeh prayer in Ramadan 2021 either 

·        Friday/Jummah Prayer has limited days with the weather becoming colder and snow coming soon

·        The Quran Program for 200+ kids has come to a complete halt since February 2019

·        We have not been able to have any Khutbahs/Dars/Lectures for the community since the Mosque has been closed.

We Need Your Help

Phase 1 of the Mosque Expansion Project has been completed Alhamdulillah. Now we need help to fund Phase 2. The amount needed for Phase 2 is $583,100 and we have already collected ~$350,000. The remaining balance for Phase 2 is ~$233,100. Below is a breakdown of the phases and costs that are still unpaid (red). Below the breakdown, are current images of the work that was done in Phase 1.  

                                 OUR VISION

Emerge as a self-sufficient Islamic community. Offering Muslim community members all the services required to raise our kids in accordance to the teachings of the beloved prophet Muhammed (PBUH).  These services begin with first and foremost the completion of the house of Allah (SWT), then expanding to include an Islamic Community Center offering a multitude of services to the Muslim community at large.
