We are the MCGP Girls Who Code club. In just 9 days, we achieved something truly remarkable this summer at the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton. 15 girls came together to start our very own ‘Girls Who Code’ club at the masjid. Through sisterhood and inspiring women in tech mentors, we dived into the world of coding to address causes and issues we cared about. 

Through code, our club:

• Learned to make websites more accessible for people with disabilities
• Highlighted our vision and creativity to spread awareness and take action for problems we want to solve
• Created 15 impressive websites

However, many potential participants were held back from joining our club this summer due to the lack of access to laptops. 

How You Can Make a Difference:

Our aim is to buy 5 new laptops to include Afghan refugee girls from our community in our Girls Who Code program. Each laptop costs about $500. Any contribution is invaluable. We encourage you to share this initiative with your family and friends who believe in the power of education.

By contributing to our fundraising campaign, you will directly be enabling underprivileged girls and refugees to overcome the barrier of limited resources by providing laptops.
