Update 

The unexpected impact of this launchgood initiative surpasses our initial expectations. The heartfelt support and love from our community has been overwhelming, underscoring the profound endearment for Salem.

Despite the tragedy and its inexplicable nature, may his passing be a source of elevation to the ranks of the shuhada, especially during the ten best days of the year.

The collected funds will be entrusted to a trusted individual in Yemen who will supervise the projects. We commit to providing regular updates as we consider you all integral members of our extended family.
 

At the age of 35, newly married, Salem had a promising future ahead of him. His deep desire to embrace fatherhood added to the anticipation of joyful milestones in his life. He looked forward to spending time with his nieces, spoiling them with love and lots of toys. 

Our father harbored deep affection for his son; this sentiment was so profound that he chose to adopt the name "Abu Salem" in place of "Abu Mohamed". Equally, our mother held a deep fondness for him, captivated by his hazel eyes and admirable character. He was respected and loved by all; in particular his closest friends that became his brothers.

His loss is particularly devastating for us, following the passing of our father just two years ago. Salem was one of ten children; three already with their Lord, making Salem the fourth. May Allah grant our mom patience dealing with the loss of another child.

We humbly request your prayers for Salem, our father and our family during this trying time. May Allah forgive them, have mercy on them, and unite our father with his four sons in Jannat AlFirdous. 

Beautiful patience, until we meet again, Insha’Allah.

“Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

اللهم اغفر له وارحمه ، وعافه واعف عنه ، وأكرم نزله ، ووســع  مدخله ، واغســله بالماء والثلج والبرد ، ونقّه من الذنوب والخطايا كما ينقى الثوب الأبيض من الدنس ، وأبدله داراً خيراً من داره ، وأهلاً خيراً من أهله،  وأدخله الجنة ، وأعذه من عذاب القبر ومن عذاب النار.
