Overview

We are blessed with access to clean water at the turn of a tap but that is not the case for over a billion people world-wide.

Help me to bring the essentials of life to villages in Malawi by building water wells for local farmers and villagers. With your help, the wells we build will provide clean drinking water to people and livestock, help irrigate farms and provide sanitation to communities in need.

​Background

The cost of building and maintaining a water well and pump is $5000. This 30-day campaign aims to build at least 1 well with any surplus donations going towards the building of additional wells.

Malawi is a country in south-east Africa which has experienced repeated droughts over the past 20 years.
The target area in Malawi is a collection of 19 villages in T/A Makhwira with a total number of 2,422 households and a total population of 9,000 individuals.

This area has not seen a good harvest since 1997 due to weather pattern changes caused by climate change.
