I started this campaign after I saw several families collecting trash from a dumpster for recycling with their kids as the situation of mass unemployment and lockdowns + homelessness + HOPELESSNESS continues. 

These are some of the 39 girls from an orphanage nearby, about 30 of them are orphans and the rest were abandoned by their parents, not all of the orphans are orphaned because of Covid though. 

As of August 12, 2021, there are now 39 girls in this one house, although the roof is about to fall from disrepair (large holes, leaking when it rains) as the house we are renting for them isn't really that good enough. 

It's a cheap rented house, but that's what I can do for now. 

We provide free meals without embarassment to any needy family or orphanage delivered to their door, whether they are embarrassed to ask or most often - they don't know how to ask.

We try to limit the amount of pics and videos we take to lessen the feeling of the receivers that they're in a bad situation.  

We try hard to give the kind of food that we and others would eat normally .....so we make sure there's chicken meat and eggs and not just rice and vegetables all the time. 

From July 2nd to August 2: We cooked and sent out a total 1600 meals.

From August 2nd to September 2nd: We plan to send out 2000 meals ! 

Here's a rundown for August, 2021: 

1) August 5th: 85 cooked meals sent out 

2) August 6th: None, we had to get vaccinated

3) August 7th: 110 cooked meals sent out 

4) August 8th: 115 cooked meals sent out 

5) August 9th:  68 cooked meals and 40 grocery packs sent out 

6) August 10th: 130 cooked meals sent out 

7) August 11th:  171 cooked meals sent out !!

8) August 12th: 50 grocery packs and 82 meals sent out 

9) August 13th: 55 grocery packs and 70 meals sent out 

10) August 14th: 115 cooked lunches sent out 

11) August 15th: 90 cooked lunches for the orphanage 

12) August 16th: 130 hot cooked lunches

13) August 17th: 124 hot cooked lunches, 30 cooked dinners 

14) August 18th: 150 hot cooked lunches 

15) August 19th: 172 hot cooked lunches, 25 hot cooked dinners 

We are sending hot meals only to those who have no rice cooker or gas to even cook as some are homeless/unemployed , so for those who can cook, we send out that much equivalent in groceries.   

We'd like to ramp up that amount to 300 a day within a month, and 500 meals a day within two to three months. But realistically we do about 150-200 cooked meals a day both from local donors and international donors.  

I collected USD 1,200 from my July campaign through launchgood, which we bought three more stoves, hired another cook and a delivery guy instead of paying outside deliveries as well as paying for more raw food for about 600 meals. Doing this reduced the cost per meal by 30% thanks to your July donations. This next round we are going to attempt to feed 2000 people for August.

Your 2 dollars saves a father or mother from begging on the roadside which even that is not allowed under new laws because they would get fined and then arrested. Also, please bear in mind, in August, we may focus solely on sending out groceries and packed food to orphans only. 

We provide free meals without embarassment to any needy family or the homeless or orphans- whether they be covid orphans or not. We have pre designated residential areas with their reps standing by to receive the food.
