With your support, we have built an entire Virtual Community! Alhumdulilah! We hope everyone in your family benefited from our Special Ramadan Online Programs. We need you to continue supporting MAS Staten Island Center as we serve our community during this epidemic.
VIRTUAL PROGRAMS
Since we aren't able to be in each other's physical presence in our center, we decided to bring our community experience online. As the nation goes into a state of emergency and people react to the uncertainty facing us, it’s hard to know where to turn for spiritual support, grounded advice, and clear direction. MAS Staten Island Center was among the first to take all our Programs, Halaqas, Quran Classes, and Weekend School online! We are continuously building online content, these sessions are mostly through Zoom for a personalized experience, giving students a chance to ask questions and participate. The feedback is absolutely amazing!

Update on Muslim American Society Staten Island Progress
Assalamu Alaikum,
Alhamdulillah by the permission of Allah and due to your continuous support over the years, our Islamic Center’s Expansion Project is off to a great start! In order for us to reach our goal of opening our center we need your generosity and continuous support this Ramadan.
Here are some highlights from our project so far:

Thanks to your generous donations to our MAS Staten Island Center, we have purchased the lot next door, completed the design of the new building with the Architect Firm, applied for permits to begin construction, and we are planning to break ground right after Ramadan when we receive remaining permits InshaAllah.
Our goal is to build a 6 times larger and modern state-of-the-art center to serve the community for generations and decades to come. Over 700 people are currently praying in our center, even during the COVID-19 pandemic - we hold 4 Jummuah prayers and 2 Taraweeh sessions in our parking lot to accommodate. Imagine how many more people we would be able to welcome with a larger space. The reward of every prayer made will go to all those who have been generous in donating to this much-needed cause.
We can see our center's impact on the youth of our community through their leadership and engagement with our programs and activities. Please visit massic.org for details.
