• Masjid Al-Shareef Needs New Wudu Rooms!

The masjid was converted from a heavy duty factory building in 1972 and the current wudu rooms (brother and sisters) were constructed in 1985. The necessity to replace old fixtures and implement water and energy conservation requires a complete remodeling of the wudu rooms.

Masjid Al-Shareef has also been the springboard for the growth of other Islamic communities contributing to Islam in Southern California. Masjid Al-Shareef still maintains an international community. Masjid Al-Shareef has been a cornerstone in Long Beach.
