As Salamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh.

Our beloved son, brother, husband, father, uncle and granddad, Jasim Uddin Ahmed (Raja Miah), has returned back to Allah at a young age.

May Allah forgive all of his sins and grant him Jannatul Firdaus and elevate his station amongst those who are guided, Ameen. May Allah save him from the punishment of the grave and enlarge for him his grave and shed light upon him in it, Ameen.

We are raising money to help build a Mosque in his memory and your donations will be a Sadaqah Jariyah that will keep on giving.

A donation of £100 can be made towards a Musallah space (one prayer area). Limited to 100 spaces.

A further donation of £250 towards the construction of the Mosque will give you the opportunity to have your name inscribed on the Wall of Mercy. Limited to 50 names. In addition to the proposed cost for constructing the Mosque, you can also support the community with: 

£2,000 Construction of an Imam’s residential house - Building a residential home for the nominated Imam adjacent to the Masjid, will not only support the community in retaining the Imam, but will also help the Imam invest more of his time and energy nurturing the religious needs of the community. 

£2,000 Water Well or Water Storage Tank - You can sponsor a water well for £2,000 to support the community with a clean water solution within the heart of the community.

Your support is not just a financial contribution; it is an investment in the hereafter, a means of seeking Allah's pleasure, and a gesture of love and respect for him.

"When a person dies, his deeds come to an end, except for three: Sadaqah Jariyah (a continuous charity), or knowledge from which people benefit, or a righteous child who prays for him." (Muslim)

Allah said “O son of Adam! Spend, and I shall spend on you.” (Bukhari/Muslim)

The Prophet SAW said “Whoever builds a Mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allah will build for him a house in Paradise.” (Ibn Majah)

The Prophet SAW also said “Charity does not decrease wealth.” (Muslim)
