The time has come!

After 12 years in the small building we have in Hackney, the impact our Masjid has had to the youth and our Community is great; Alhamdulillah. Alongside fundraising for the maintenance of the masjid, we have also decided to take a step in saving for expanding the masjid so that our dawah becomes bigger and we have a greater impact on the community. 

Help us maintain our current masjid and to also save for a bigger building so that we do not have to turn our brothers and sisters away from seeking knowledge - seeking the inheritance of our Prophet ﷺ. 

• The bills for the masjid come up to roughly £60,000 yearly.

Ibn Maajah narrated from Jaabir ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, like a sparrow’s nest or even smaller, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.”

Allah, ﷻsays: “The Mosques of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day; perform As-Salaah, and give Zakaah and fear none but Allah. It is they who are expected to be on true guidance.” (Tawbah 9:18)

There are few deeds whose reward reaches to a person even after his demise. Masjid construction is one of such deed whose return a person receives in his grave. So if someone wants to earn reward even after his death he should start a project of constructing a masjid. In this way, a house is not only built for him in paradise but he also receives its reward after his death.
