Background of the Masjid

Founded in the heart of Luton, Masjid Noor was one of the very first Masjid open in the entire Luton! Acting as a beacon of Dawah for the community, the Masjid has grown immensely from where it first started. From providing facilities for the 5 day Salah's as well as Jummah Salah, Alhamdulillah the Masjid has also been able to develop establishments for the providence of an Islamic education through the setting-up of a daily Maktab system. Today 39 years post its opening, Masjid Noor continues to serve as one of the primary Islamic educators in Luton, producing aspirational and well-educated students.  Alhamdulillah from the day the Masjid initiated its Hifdh program in 2001, we have produced 10 Huffadh that have begun and finished with us and supported several Huffadh in completing portions of the Quran. Of these students, Alhamdullillah we have seen 10 of them recite the full Quran in one day sittings repeatedly with 6 of whom have recited the entire Quran in only a single rakat of Salah so far!

• Maktab system for Boys and Girls from the age of 5
• Hifdh classes for Boys and Girls
• Full time and part time Ālimiyyah course

The Masjid is currently looking to improve its existing facilities which will provide improved services for the local community as well as its students; however we need your support. This is where you come in! We request your kindness and the generosity of your donations to support us and our children (LILLAH DONATIONS ONLY).

Phase 1:

• Pay off 30k Masjid debt
• Wudhu/ toliets/ hallway aswell as office redesign and renovation (estimated cost is 150k)
