MASJID-E-USMAN NEEDS TO RAISE £150,000 URGENTLY!

For over 35 years, Masjid-e-Usman has been a cornerstone of our community, providing a place of worship, Islamic education, and essential community services. However, due to financial difficulties and urgent refurbishments, we are at risk of struggling to continue our vital work. We need to raise £150,000 by December 2025 to ensure the Masjid remains open and serves future generations.
 

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “Whoever builds a mosque, Allah will build for him something like it in Paradise.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (450) and Muslim (533) from the hadeeth of ‘Uthmaan (may Allah be pleased with him). 

A Rich Legacy – Serving the Community Since 1969
• 1969: A small house was used to establish Madrassa Khaliliya for children’s Islamic education.
• 1992 (Ramadan): Masjid-e-Usman was formally established as a place of worship, education, and community support.
• Present Day: Generations have benefitted from the Masjid and Madrassa, but now urgent financial help is required to sustain and improve our facilities.

Masjid-e-Usman is more than just a place of prayer, It is:
1. A House of Allah & Spiritual Hub
• For over 35 years, Muslims have gathered here for the five daily prayers, Jumu’ah, Taraweeh, Eid prayers, and other Islamic events.
• A place where hearts are connected to Allah through worship, supplication, and community unity.
2. A Centre for Islamic Learning (Madrassa Khaliliya)
• Since 1969, children and adults have learned the Qur’an, Islamic studies, and essential teachings of Deen in our Madrassa.
• The next generation depends on our qualified teachers, structured curriculum, and safe learning environment.
3. A Community Hub for All
• We provide a safe space for social and religious gatherings, where people can seek guidance, support, and friendship.
• We organise workshops and events that empower individuals through mental health support, employment advice, and elderly care services.
4. An Essential Funeral & Burial Service
• We assist grieving families in their time of need, offering full support from bereavement to burial according to Islamic guidelines.
• This service is vital for our Muslim community, ensuring that their loved ones receive a dignified farewell.
