Our humble educational institution, Maahad Tahfiz Al-Fateh, currently houses 50 students in Batang Kali, Selangor. We currently have a housing block for male students, a classroom, a small prayer hall and a kitchen for usage. We have started our learning sessions in January 2018, offering al-Quran, hadith, fardhu ain and academic memorization classes by using a memorization system that focuses on a lot of systematic repetition and utilising the latest methodology. We provide teaching staff who have memorized the Quran, graduated in the field of Islamic and academic studies and are student-friendly. We prioritise the formation of student personality through an integrated education system. We strive to have a facility as a training centre in order to produce future leaders of the Ummah in the future.
 

We are grateful for the donations of the past and are striving to improve our institution by maintaining operations.

Lately, we realise that we lack the facility needed to be more independent; a large transportation asset to help us move students for more places for activities. We always receive invitations from multiple institutions for the recitation of Al-Quran during events or even spread the good word. However, we lack the funds or capacity to expand further.

The saddest part is that the students usually walk to the mosque, which is quite a distance from the school, to perform Friday prayers. And our institution is situated inside a forest, where there are stray dogs. Usually, we will just tell the students to toughen up, but with the recent incidents of almost being attacked by dogs, or even walking to the mosque is risky at night, we believe that owning a bus will help out the cause.

We are looking at models of buses to be used. We look at examples of buses, such as the Hino Mini Bus. The market value of Hino XZU720R-HKFRL1 starts from RM 109,958.00 excluding road tax, insurance and registration fee. We figure that it would reach more than RM200,000 if we were to use it perpetually.
