Bring Palestine to DC!

For the fifth year in a row, American Muslims for Palestine will be sending a delegation to Washington DC to lobby our legislators. Our Minnesota chapter needs your help sending 15 young activists to our nation's capital!

What is AMP-MN?

We aim to bring Palestine to Minnesota and more specifically, to the Minnesota Muslim community. We want to activate the MN Muslim community through education and advocacy. We've been spending the past couple of months presenting at mosques and other Muslim organizations across the Twin Cities to educate our community about Palestine and the current state of affairs there. Now we want to take this community with us to DC do advocate on behalf of Palestine. We specifically want to make this opportunity available to young activists in our community so that we can empower them to use their voice for a just cause.

Why Minnesota needs to show up!​

These past few years have been exciting for us Minnesotans in terms of Palestine! Congresswomen Betty McCollum and Ilhan Omar have both spoken up against Israeli human rights violations. They have helped start a conversation and we need to continue the momentum. It is imperative that our representatives hear from us and know where their constituents stand on the matter.

What's next?

Help us send 15 young activists to DC! We would like to provide stipends for registration and transportation to students and young professionals to attend Palestine Advocacy Day (PAD) April 5th-8th. The weekend will include two training days and ends on Monday with advocacy day where attendees will lobby 3 members of congress.
