GAZA EMERGENCY APPEAL

A year of trials, tribulations, heartache and suffering. More than a shocking 45,000 innocent Palestinian lives have been taken. The past twelve months has been constant bombings, severe starvation, wide-scale displacement, and extreme trauma. Men, women, children and the elderly have been through an entire year of vicious brutality. No end in sight, no tools to survive, no chance to mourn the loss of their homes, loved ones, and livelihoods. While we continue our essential emergency projects – providing nutritious food, clean water, and medical care to families, we’re also expanding our work to supporting communities for a more hopeful future though education, waste management, and broader healthcare.

Allah (swt) in the Qur’an “Whoever saves one life, it is as if he has saved the whole of mankind.” [5:32] 

One Ummah has been on the ground in Gaza for years, witnessing the devastating impacts throughout their many conflicts. Over the years, thousands of people have been killed, and tens of thousands more severely injured. The people of Palestine have been in a 70+ year struggle for justice. The difficulty of the Palestinians has certainly worsened over the last year, and the psychological toll it has taken on their lives is unimaginable.

Each day, more and more children lose their parents. More families reluctantly flee their homes seeking safety in unsafe lands.

GAZA EMERGENCY APPEAL: Gaza, home to over 2 million people, is currently facing unprecedented hardship. In the latest conflict, more than 45,000 lives have been lost, and thousands more remain injured or are trapped under the rubble. Innocent civilians, including countless children, suffer relentless trauma as they face critical shortages of food, clean water, medical supplies, and electricity.

More than 50% of Gaza’s buildings have been destroyed, with 360,000 homes damaged. This devastation has left over 1 million people displaced, struggling to survive amidst wrecked infrastructure. Essential facilities like hospitals and schools have also been significantly impacted, further deepening the humanitarian crisis​.
