The Project

The new FGCM development is will be the heart of our community. It's a three-story haven designed to foster unity, education, and service. Featuring spacious prayer halls for men and women, a state-of-the-art primary school specializing in Hifz and UK national curriculum, and dedicated community spaces, this project is the culmination of our collective vision and efforts.

The Annual Boat Race​ with the Al-Noor Foundation

The Annual Boat Race is an event which has been established by the Al-Noor Foundation in the Summer of 2018, at Fairlop Waters in the London Borough of Redbridge. The next event takes place this year on Saturday the 6th July 2024

The event is open to all schools, faith groups, charities and corporate organisations. The event aims to unite the community whereby individuals, families and organisations have the opportunity to raise money for charitable causes which are close to their hearts, by simply registering for a boat and participating in the race.

Boat races are part of the great heritage of British culture and an amazing way to unite both competitors and communities together behind a common cause. Dragon Boat racing is something which is growing in popularity in the UK, originating from Southern China’s Guangdong Province.

The boats we will be using can accommodate up to 17 riders at a time and will be provided by a specialist Dragon Boat company which the Foundation has partnered up with to run the event.
