Urgent Help Needed for Mosque in India: Completion of Construction Required Before Ramadan

Uthman ibn Affan reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever builds a mosque for Allah, Allah will build for him a house like it in Paradise.

My cousins initiated a mosque construction project, which was nearing completion, with only minor work remaining, such as installing doors, water systems, and other final touches. Tragically, my both cousins passed away last year, bringing the project to a halt. They had originally planned to inaugurate the mosque at the start of this year's Ramadan.

With a heavy heart yet hopeful intentions, we are seeking your generosity to help raise funds for a project that will serve as Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) for my cousins: the construction of a mosque. This will be a lasting source of reward for them, ensuring that their legacy continues to benefit others even in the hereafter.

The foundation is set, the walls are up, but there’s still work to be done. With Ramadan approaching, the community is hoping to complete the final stages of construction so they can open the doors in time for this holy month.

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “When a person dies, their deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for them.” (Sahih Muslim)

The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: “The believer’s shade on the Day of Resurrection will be their charity.” (Tirmidhi)
