Dear Contributor,

We would like to appreciate all the generous contributions towards the My Quran Project.

On the My Quran website, we now have 45 reciters Juz Amma in the English Language which was released in the build up to Ramadhan.

We are now releasing the Entire Qur'an for the first 3 Reciters and other Qur'an related content on our Social Media Platforms.

This is an update to all our contributors that we have now begun uploading content on the My Qur'an Platforms as scheduled. 

We will begin with 45 Juz Amma Sets which will be called the Juz Amma Series.

As there were 45 days remaining till Ramadan, we thought we would use this to release one Juz Amma set per day.

29/01/2021 - Update On My Quran

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

We wanted to provide you with an update on how things have progressed since we launched the My Quran Platform and the crowdfunding.

Due to the generosity of the Contributers we have now selected 33 people for this project who come from 13 different countries instead of the proposed 17 so we can get more people on board on this project and also make an impact to their lives.

We had a selection process from around 70 individuals we were already working with prior to My Quran as volunteers.

With the funds received we have begun providing already 12 individuals with the software they require and providing funds for internet and costs relating to the work.

We have started to provide the individuals working on this project funds to support them for the year and we are constantly transfering the funds to them accordingly and an equal amount to those who are video editors and video reviewers .

If anyone wants to have any further information about how funds are being used, how the project so far has benefitted the individuals taking part and the impact it has on their life generally or spiritually, feel free to email us and we will provide you all the information you may require.

Apart from the above, we are producing the content and by end of February we will beging publishing content regularly as scheduled so we can be consistent in what we aim to provide. We are working around the clock to get this right.

We have reached the target of $25,000 USD today Alhumdulillah. 

The target has been increased, so contributions can continue to come forward and go towards the project. 

The initial target was a target set for one period of the project which was Alhumdulillah reached in a very short period of time which went beyond expectations thus why the target was set lower than what was actually required to cover other parts of the project for its first year.

As per the schedule on the website, we would like to inform you, work has already begun and we hope to be ahead of schedule for the year 2021 Insha Allah.
