Imagine an award-winning mosque that provides 20+ critical services and projects to its local community.  Where a Women’s section is not needed because they are just a natural part of the fabric of organising, decision making and benefiting. Where there is a waiting list of 200 children for the madrasah. Providing tuition classes for young people to excel in their education. Organised youth stayovers, host world-renown scholars, speakers and experts in different fields, delivering marriage guidance courses, world cuisine masterclasses and a range of well-being community courses, run environmental projects, and of course, provides courses in Arabic, Tajwid, fard al ayn, Fiqh by qualified and authentic teachers.

Soup Kitchens, Dedicated Are for Youth

Now Imagine a masjid that does all of this but doesn’t have a home?
Welcome to the Abrahamic Foundation in Sandwell & Birmingham.

We want to run soup kitchens, more classes for adults, have a dedicated area for young people and do so much more.  We currently have a tiny multi-purpose building and every activity is on a strict timer.

We are doing our best to live our vision to “Create faithful and thriving communities through the example of the Prophets ﷺ masjid”. A tried and tested method that lifted mankind from darkness into light.

We need you now.  We have worked without asking for 11 years. We have built the foundations for a thriving masjid, a team of imams, dedicated staff, volunteers and a centre manager. This is the time. We’ve done all the hard work. We just need you to help us take it to the next level.

OUR MASJID VISION
Our vision has been inspired by the masjid that the Prophet (SAW) established and His companions continued in Madinah. The Prophet’s (SAW) Masjid was not just a place limited to worship, but rather a beacon of guidance for mankind. It served as a nursery for the young, a school for the children and a university for the seeker of knowledge. A sanctuary for those in need and for those seeking counsel. It was a centre of social activism, leadership and character development all of which underpinned and inspired by Qur’anic revelation and the life of the messenger of Allah (SAW). We aim at taking the masjid back into the community.
