Make a donation to Read Academy Education this Ramadan

Read Academy is a fully registered UK charity as well as a not-for-profit organisation. We welcome donations as a means to further the school’s vision of Care, Opportunities, Respect and Excellence (C-O-R-E) for our school community and the Ummah.

Our Events Management Team work tirelessly to organise events to enrich the Read community.

Providing students and parents with memorable experiences such as our annual Family Mixer, where our parents and students enjoy a day in nature with lots of fun outdoor activities. 

In order to keep events like this accessible to all our students, Team Read Dragon Boat want to raise funds. Your generous donations will help purchase income generating machinery that will enable our events team and PTA to offer high quality items to transform and elevate what our traditional school bake sales and events have had to offer.  

Not just this but we will commit to use the equipment purchased to support a minimum of five fundraising events for various charities around the world where help is most needed. We will continue to do this year on year.

Join us for the Annual Boat Race, a flagship event organised by the Al-Noor Foundation since its inception in the summer of 2018. This much-anticipated event returns on Saturday, 5th July 2025, at Fairlop Waters in the London Borough of Redbridge.

Open to schools, faith groups, charities, and corporate organisations, the Boat Race is a unique opportunity to unite our diverse community for a day of excitement, camaraderie, and charitable giving. Whether you're an individual, a family, or an organisation, you can make a difference by raising funds for causes close to your heart while enjoying the thrill of Dragon Boat racing.

Boat racing has long been a cherished tradition in British culture, symbolising teamwork, determination, and unity. Our event showcases the vibrant spirit of our community while celebrating the growing popularity of Dragon Boat racing, a tradition that originated in Southern China’s Guangdong Province.

17 Riders, 20 Fundraisers: While each boat can carry up to 17 paddlers at a time, teams will include 20 fundraisers, allowing for substitutions and shared participation. Everyone plays a vital role, whether paddling or cheering from the sidelines!
