1. About Dar Al Taqwa:

    we introduce ourselves as Dar Al Taqwa Nihon Islamic Bunka Center (DNIBC)– registered(Reg No: #0106-05-003909) as a Non-Profitable Organization from 21st Dec 2020. 

• Dar Al Taqwa is a non-profitable registered organization in Japan since 2020. It is located in Ojima, Kōtō-ku, Tokyo. Before registration, we were known as Ojima Musallah(2014-2020).
• We started with a small group of 5~7 families forming a Mussallah in 2014. As time passed by, new families started joining our community and it gradually increase to 50+ families in 2020. There is a need to meet the demand of teaching Quran for the kids, conducting daily prayers, promoting Islamic cultural activities in and around the area that we live in.
• The population of foreigners in Koto including Muslims from various countries is growing every year. The current population of Muslims in Koto ward, Ojima area is around 60+ families.
   

2. Objective:

• To establish a permanent building for masjid & promoting cultural activities for Muslim community in Ojima,, Kōtō-ku, Tokyo.
• To provide efficient service and da’wah for Muslims and non-Muslims.
• To find supports & sponsorships as well as donations from other organizations and the public locally and internationally to construct the first Masjid in koto ward.

3. REASONS For Permanent Building:

• Population of Muslims in Ojima area increases gradually every year and the growth is likely to continue despite various factors. Currently, there are about 150 Muslims/50 + families in and around Ojima area.
• Recent conversations about Islam in media mass have developed interest among Japanese society. A strong demand of a masjid is necessary to strengthen da’wah activities as well as Islamic culture information center in Koto City.
• The operation and rent cost for Masjid on monthly basis comes to 1,50,000 + JPY(1300 USD) Which we want to eradicate and use it for better improvements and support other upcoming Masjid.

3.1 Phase I: Purchase of Land for Masjid 

      We are happy to inform that by the grace of Allah, the land secured for Masjid construction was registered in favour of Dar Al Taqwa NIBC on 08/Jul/2024 (1st Muharram 1446 AD). Details of the land as follows,

• Location : 136-0072  Japan, Tokyo-To, Koto-ku, Ojima 3-15-32
• Area        : 78 Meter Square
• Value      : 7500 万円 (475,000 USD approx.)

3.2 Phase-II : Masjid Construction

       Our future Masjid, is planned be constructed with the following facilities,

• Dawah Center for Muslims & Non-Muslims
• Provision for Tabiya Class
• Facilitate Arabic & Quran classes
• Prayer hall for men + wudhu Area
• Separate Prayer Hall for women + wudhu Area
• Overnight stay during Ramadan last 10 days (Qiyamullail)
• Kitchen to facilitate Iftar & Suhoor meals during Ramadan

Please note : In the above table, the Overall Cost for the phase II Masjid construction is divided into 754 Carpet Space(one prayer mat space). This will help the donors to understand the significant impact that their donation will have on our project.

Parents/relatives/beloved ones that will benefit them and you, not only in this world but also in the hereafter (Insha Allah).
