A senseless crime has left 4 family members dead and a nine year old boy an orphan. He needs our support more than ever!

With an extremely heavy heart we are sharing the news of an Islamaphobic fueled  hate crime that took place in London Ontario last night (6/6/21). London Police say a family of four who were struck and killed by a vehicle in the northwest end of London, Ont., on Sunday evening were the victims of a pre-meditated, intentional hate crime. The only survivor is a young 9-year-old boy. He has become an orphan from this senseless crime and needs the support of his brothers and sisters

PLEASE NOTE: In order to consolidate all efforts we have combined fundrasing with the family, london community mosque and islaimc relief. All of this is supported by all of the family

What Happened

The family was simply out taking an evening stroll when they were devastatingly hit by a large black pickup truck. Witnesses say that the truck was barreling down the road at a high speed.  Emergency crews were called to the scene by several 9-1-1 callers.

One woman was pronounced dead at the scene. The other women, man and two children were taken to hospital where all but the 9-year-old boy later passed away. The boy has serious but not life-threatening injuries. We are praying for him to come off of life support soon. Family members of the victims have requested that their names and images not be released at this time.

Police arrested a 20-year-old man from London Ontario. There is evidence that this was a planned, pre-meditated act motivated by hate. It is believed these victims were targeted because they were Muslim,” said superintendent Paul Waight. The suspect has been charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder in the largest mass killing in the city's history. He is expected to appear in court Monday. We pray that Allah grants this family justice that they deserve.
