One of the most moving moments from this trip was helping a young girl hear sound for the very first time. After supporting her surgery, she will now begin the journey of learning everything from scratch — speech, comprehension, and connection. A truly life-changing moment made possible by your compassion.

We then visited an incredibly heartbreaking case — an elderly woman displaced by war, struggling without a breadwinner. Her husband is gravely ill and undergoing chemotherapy, while she herself has been diagnosed with a serious heart condition. Her situation was dire. With your support, we were able to cover her rent and bring some stability back into her life. It was an emotional visit we’ll never forget.

At the hospital, we continued supporting more special cases:

Asmaa, a young girl suffering from a poorly healed fracture below the humerus, now receiving proper care.

Hana, who needed critical surgery to repair shoulder tendons damaged by a supraspinatus strain — now on the road to recovery.

We also brought smiles to the faces of children in hospital by gifting them toys — small gestures that mean the world to them.

One of the realest lessons in life is walking through a hospital ward, seeing sick children, and realizing — if this world truly meant everything to Allah (SWT), there would be no suffering. But this dunya is a test, and Allah (SWT) reminds us: “We shall certainly test you…”

Before surgery, we gave gifts to the children to uplift their spirits. It may seem small, but it makes a world of difference to their mood. 

The doctor performed surgeries one after another—Alhamdulillah, every procedure was successful. 

Yet, in the midst of joy, we also felt the weight of loss. Zainab and Yusuf have returned to their Creator. May Allah (SWT) grant them mercy and reunite them with their loved ones in Jannah.

At the same time, our mission continues. In the freezing cold of Afghanistan, we stood outside, digging for a water well—because clean water is a basic need, yet for so many, it’s a daily struggle. 

We also brought clothes and flowers to those recovering from surgery, a simple gesture that brought light to their faces.

Through hardship, patience is key, and Allah (SWT) promises unstinting reward to those who persevere. We are servants to the One who does as He pleases, and our duty is to keep giving, keep helping, and keep showing up.

Giving them Homes and Hope | Gaza Refugees 

Alhamdulilah by the will of Allah SWT I am on the field again in Egypt housing 18 families and following up on special cases. 

These refugee famillies from Gaza have been living in the hospital for the past 8 months waiting to start their new lives. Thanks to your generous donations the MATW team and myself have managed to make it happen!

We are committed to assisting Palestinian families through a Family Sponsorship Program aimed at ensuring their well-being and enhancing their quality of life. Our program will provide monthly allowances, to help families get a new start, alleviating their financial burdens and empowering them to cater to their own basic needs with dignity.

Allah SWT is the best of planners. You are here helping our ummah because Allah SWT has called you to do so. 

Keep answering that call and keep helping our brothers and sisters in need around the world. 

These are the forgotten refugees in Turkiye. 

Special cases come in different forms and each looks different to the other.

The deen of Allah SWT stands beside the weak. The boy, the girl, the women, the poor, the old, the orphan, the widow. They all have their status and rights. 

The Ummah of Prophet Muhammad SAW is going through a lot of pain and torment. Its going through a lot of trials and tribulations and Allah SWT has blessed me in that I have youth, I have finances and I have free time. I sat in Dubai thinking do I go back to Ireland or do I go and pursue these special cases that I have seen before and get more people involved.

The current situation in Palestine is catastrophic. More than 22,000 have lost their lives and more than 57,000 have been injured. Many children are being left orphaned, with no one to care for them and protect them.

More than 1.9 million people have become internally displaced, around half of them are children. Families have fled South, leaving everything behind, seeking refuge in shelters that can no longer accommodate the numbers. Now, during winter, everyone is exposed to harsher conditions that are especially dangerous for children. Not only are families trying to protect themselves from violence, they now have to worry about how to protect themselves from the biting winter cold.

Our MATW team has been responding to the crisis. We are providing life-saving assistance to those suffering from the effects of the worst outbreak of violence in the region in years. Use your Zakat and Sadaqah to help us provide urgent medical support, food, clean water and shelter.
