Al-Salamu 'Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabrakatuhu,

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our Dear Imam Azhar will be leaving IACC. He has served our community since 2018, and in these years, he has fulfilled his obligations as the local Imam, complemented by his dedication to strategic planning for community enrichment. He worked tirelessly, sacrificing his health and time away from his family. We have recently learned of his medical condition and that of two of his children.

As he transitions to his next role, we want to ensure that our dear Imam is duly taken care of financially. Real reward for his contributions to the IACC community can only come from Allah SWT. However, this collection will serve as a token of appreciation from the community to Imam Azhar for his efforts during his tenure here. Jazakum Allah Khair.

Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, 
Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the hereafter. Whoever conceals the faults of a Muslim, Allah will conceal his faults in this world and the hereafter. Allah helps the servant as long as he helps his brother. Whoever travels a path searching for knowledge, Allah will make it easy for him to go on a path to Paradise. People do not gather in the houses of Allah, reciting the Book of Allah and studying it together, but that tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will cover them, angels 
will surround them, and Allah will mention them to those near Him. Whoever is slow to good deeds will not be hastened by his lineage.”
