*Campaign Update*

Alhamdulilah, the campaign raised over 15k in the first round this past Ramadan! We are very grateful to all the donors and those who prayed for the new center. The campaign is going live again for just the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. We ask Allah (SWT) to accept and multiply your contribution on these blessed days. 

*Updates on the MAS Tarbiya Center*

By the grace of Allah, since the purchase of center in January, it has housed several activities offered for all. This includes weekly, family-oriented programs, where kids and adults alike are able to enjoy and benefit from  lectures/reminders and activities. In addition, a high school youth initiative, Torchbearers, began at the center. The program aims to offer a space where high school Muslims can increase ties of brotherhood and sisterhood through activities and games, while strengthening and reaffirming their Muslim identity through reminders and lectures on relevant and necessary topics. During Ramadan, the center offered iftars, taraweeh and tahajjud prayers in addition to the daily and Jumuah prayers. Furthermore, overnight qiyam programs were offered during the last 10 nights of Ramadan and specific qiyam programs for the youth.

Regarding the physical plan for the center, we hope to begin the first phase of transforming the center from its former church structure to a more appropriate atmosphere. Furthermore, we are still raising the costs to pay for the center purchase. Please contribute to this effort in whatever capacity you can, this is a community effort that we ask Allah to grant us His help and success.

The MAS Detroit chapter is proud to announce the launch of a new community center and mosque. The center aims to create a welcoming space for families and youth, where they can find diverse programming, a sense of community, and a space designed for their needs. It is located in Livonia, MI and is intended to serve the greater Detroit area.
