Who are we?
Iltizam Relief Society ( previously known as Al-I'tisam Relief Program Association )a Non-Profit Organisation, is based in Selangor, Malaysia. Having been helping the poor and the marginalized since 2013, Iltizam Relief supports 10 countries including Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, Rohingya Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal, Kashmir, India, and Malaysia.
Iltizam Relief team has been working in the aforementioned communities as far back as 2013, providing aid, necessary living spaces, watering wells, and food to targeted families and individuals in order to spread the message of a United Ummah.
We believe that by being on the ground and interacting with these individuals, we can understand, share and relieve their pain, one family at a time.

Poor Kashmiri Muslims brace for a harsh winter.
This coming winter will be very challenging for millions of Kashmiri Muslims who are hard-core poor and living in their own lands like refugees.
Steep rises in the cost of basic commodities like food and fuel, combined with the already harsh living conditions due to the ongoing Kashmir regional conflict and marginalization by the Government of India (GOI), put Kashmiri Muslims in a big dilemma every winter.
Many of them will have to face the winter struggling to keep their families warm.
Unlike other crises, such as in Ukraine, the crisis in Kashmir has been forgotten by the world community due to the GOI’s systematic crackdown and suppression of the media in Kashmir.
The West, which is normally vocal in championing human rights, has been ignoring the human rights violations in Kashmir’s region. The West's silence can be attributed to saving their good relationship with India, especially since India is an ally of the West to counter China’s growing global influence.
The forgotten Muslims in Kashmir need our support and attention, more so this winter.
This is because winter can be a disaster in Kashmir and will add more hardship to the lives of Kashmiri Muslims, especially the poor and destitute living in the far-flung areas.
When winter begins, the night temperatures will drop in most places in Kashmir, and heavy snowfall will disrupt the power supply, air traffic, and road traffic.
Normally, Kashmiris begin preparing for the harsh winter in the summer by storing food and drying and dehydrating vegetables in direct sunlight, and storing them for the coming winter.
But for the poor, there is nothing to eat most of the time, let alone store extra food for the winter.
How do we help to keep them warm this winter?
ILTIZAM RELIEF is organizing its second winter aid program for Kashmiri Muslims.
This winter, ILTIZAM is planning to provide food aid and blankets for at least 1,000 people in this Indian-administered Kashmir region.
But we cannot continue this work without your help.
In the winter of 2021–2022, we only managed to distribute thermal blankets to 500 people and food packages to 300 people.
For the 2022-2023 winter, our target is to help at least 1,000 poor families.

After devastating floods in Pakistan last year, families are still without proper shelter. Our plan is to replace makeshift tents with proper mud houses for 200 families at USD 1200 each. We urgently seek your support for our Community Shelter Project in Nawabshah, Pakistan.
The background of the crisis is severe, with 33 million Pakistanis affected, and winter is approaching. We face a funding gap, but construction is set to begin in July. Your support can make a significant difference. A donation of USD 1200 can provide one family with a secure shelter.

We announced today that on 2 March 2023, we distributed thermal blankets and thermal sweaters to another 200 poorest Muslims in Kashmir's most remote areas. Please be informed that this is a Phase 2 project.
During Phase 1, we hit a snag to procure the winter aid items, which can only be purchased from India, and it took 2 weeks to arrive due to many roads being closed for thick snow.
During Phase 2, thick snow delay our team's reaching out to the remote villages. However, we still manage to deliver and distribute the winter aid to these villages while it is still winter in Kashmir.

Together, we relieved the hardship of our brothers and sisters in Kashmir with this little help.
Since last year, we have helped about 2,000 people from the harsh cold of winter in Kashmir.
