We believe in empowering the people from the grassroots will give a huge impact as much as on the micro-scale families also on the macro-scale of one's community. 

Projek Bimbing which was initiated by the young people from ISMA branch of Gombak, Malaysia is a project which target on the vulnerable groups of Malaysian's society that comprises the underprivileged people.

Uplifting the Vulnerable

Ahmad is an excellent student among his peers. He started his school years with an average grade in an average class. Over the years, he grows deep interest in science and technology subject. On his final year of school, he was appointed by the department as a mentor for physics and mathematics subject to assist other student to do well like him.

He graduated with a good result but not enough to enroll him into his dream college. He thought he was a failure when the college rejected him. Now, Ahmad, a bright 18-year-old young adult has decided not to further his passion, but chose to work temporary jobs instead to help his family.

Living for years in poverty means they are constantly living on survival mode. Every day, making end meets becomes the utmost priority, and long-term goals such as pursuing studies and career building become less and less reachable.

While many of us have the privileges to live in comfort and security, these vulnerable communities are struggling to keep a roof over their head and are forced to forgo their dreams.

Understanding the urgency to change this harsh reality, we decided to play our part in empowering the vulnerable communities in Malaysia specifically in the Klang Valley area, to emancipate the vulnerable communities from chain-effect of poverty.

The focal point of our project are four critical 'Bimbing' (which means to guide) pillars that are hoped to uplift the vulnerable communites through a holistic approach. These four pillars are:

   Quranic Youth Circle
   English Speaking Class
    
2. Bimbing Kerjaya (Career support)
   Career Potential For School Leavers
   Tertiary Educational Support
   Community College Workshop
    
3. Bimbing Emosi (Emotional support)
   Family Counseling & Domestic Violence Advocacy Centre
   Single Mom Support Group
   Girl's Sanctuary
    
4. Bimbing Rohani (Spiritual support)
   Quranic Community
   Islamic Class (KAFA)
   Tadabbur Station

Apart from Projek Bimbing, we also take into account on their family wellbeing in term of financial stability. Hence, we continuously mobilize our members to always ready to help the vulnerable by collecting a charity fund. This fund will hugely impact on the vulnerable when there is an unforeseen incident happen to these groups such as Movement Control Order, accident and unemployment.

This Campaign will help us to keep uplifting the vulnerable for the longest time can be. We aim to reach as many vulnerable groups in Malaysia to have a better life, to have the right education and to make a difference in the community. Yes, you can be part of us. Below is the estimation breakdown for each project and technical cost:

1. Bimbing Academik (50 USD per student)
2. Bimbing Kerjaya (30 USD per student)
3. Bimbing Emosi (50 USD per families)
4. Bimbing Harmoni (20 USD per families)
5. Charity Fund (25 USD per Families)
6. Full-time employee to manage and coordinate projects (estimated 500 USD per month)
