Droplets of Mercy and Watan Foundation, are delivering Emergency Food Aid to Refugee Camps in Syria. The Food Security and Livelihoods Program focuses on projects that aim to break the cycle of poverty and meet emergency needs of food.

We distributed Food Kits & Hygiene Kits this Week inside of Syria. As you can see from the Video below, the need is great.

The crisis in Syria has entered into its tenth year, with 2022 having seen the
emergence of new and complex socioeconomic difficulties that are further
exacerbating the food security and livelihood situation of families across
the country.

Lets show you their living conditions.

The situation in Syria has drastically deteriorated, with an
estimated 14.2 million people in need of some form of food and agriculture
assistance, representing 68.6 per cent of the total population.

The contents of the basket will be as the following according to the FSL
cluster recommendations.

According to WFP, the number of Syrians who lack access to sufficient food
has reached a record 12.4 million, or nearly 60 per cent of the population.
Moreover, the situation has never been worse. After 10 years of conflict,
Syrian families have exhausted their savings as they face a spiraling
economic crisis. Meanwhile, the cost of basic foods to feed a family for a
month – such as bread, rice, lentils, oil and sugar – far exceeds average
salaries.
